Periodontal Regeneration by Dr Varun Bhatra
Open flap debridement (Kirkland flap) was performed to achieve adequate access for thorough degranulation and root surface debridement. The osseous defect was managed using demineralized bone matrix (Osseograft), followed by placement of a resorbable collagen membrane (Periocol) to facilitate guided tissue regeneration. Primary closure was obtained using 5-0 polypropylene sutures. The procedure was aimed at defect resolution, periodontal regeneration, and long-term stability of the involved teeth.
