DR.ALM POSTGRADUATE INSTITUTE OF BASIC MEDICAL SCIENCES

The department has a Memorandum of understanding (MoU) wherein our postgraduates are allowed to perform short term studies using the facilities at the institute.

 

AACHEN DENTAL LASER CENTER

Saveetha dental college and hospitals, Chennai, a premiere dental institute in India has now partnered with the pioneers in Laser Dentistry from Europe. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between Saveetha Dental College and AALZ (Aachen Dental Laser Center) - World Academy for Laser Education in Dentistry on 22.08.2023. AALZ is a renowned organization training dentists from the fundamentals to the recent advancements in laser dentistry. A module based one year certification course entitled “Mastership - Laser therapy in Dentistry” has been launched which is a first of its kind international fellowship program in India. This will mark a new phase in the field of laser dentistry research, education and clinical training in the country.

The MoU will promote research on the effectiveness of oxygen therapy in medical applications. Blue m as a multinational commercial organization specializing in medical products involving oxygen therapy share collaborative research with our institute as Oxygen therapy has diverse applications in dentistry ranging from wound healing, antimicrobial and antioxidant effects.

Advanced Biotech Products (P) LTD.

This MoU has been signed to develop strong collaboration in academics and research. Innovative collagen-based products has become an important tool for hastening the healing process of injured tissues. Our postgraduates can incorporate these materials for tissue regeneration and extend the research in the field of Regenerative Periodontics.

 

MagGenome Technologies (P) LTD.

This MoU has been signed to develop strong collaboration in academics and research. Our postgraduates can apply drug designing and develop novel periodontal therapeutics in the field of Regenerative Periodontics.

 

NEXT BIG INNOVATIONS LAB

This MoU has been signed for collaborative research in 3D printing and practice based education.

International Journal of Periodontal Rehabilitation, a publication of Saveetha Dental College & Hospitals, is a peer-reviewed online journal with a semi-annual print-on-demand compilation of issues published. The journal allows free access (Open Access) to its contents and permits authors to self-archive the final accepted version of the articles on any OAI-compliant institutional / subject-based repository. The journal intends to publish high-quality manuscripts on all aspects of the field of Periodontics and Implantology from authors across the globe.
