Dr.R.Jaiganesh is presently working as a Professor and Academic Head of the Periodontics Department, Saveetha Dental College and Hospitals. He has 15 years of experience as a Faculty in this institution. He had completed his BDS in Ragas Dental College in 2003 and MDS in Saveetha Dental College in 2007. He has completed his Ph.D in Herbal Extracts in the treatment of periodontal disease in 2022 and currently he is guiding Ph.D students. He has authored a Textbook for undergraduate students named “Textbook of Periodontics” with EMMESS publishers. He has attended 12 International Conferences including IADR London, FDI Sydney and 20 National Conferences and presented scientific papers and posters. He has chaired scientific sessions in ISP National conferences and National IDA conferences. He has got 115 publications to his credit out of which 70 are scopus indexed, 11 are pubmed indexed and 34 are in Web of Science Index. He has attended 10 workshops and conducted 2 workshops and was part of the organizing committee for 25 CDE Programmes. He is a life member of Indian Society of Periodontology. He has received various awards like Global faculty award, Best Periodontist of the year 2022, IDA Molaris Senior Academician Award for 2023.
