Department of Periodontics had conducted the Thirteenth edition of Perio-interaction at Saveetha dental college on 10th February 2023. The CDE programme was attended by all the post graduates and faculty from the department of Periodontics of various dental colleges in Tamil Nadu. There were five guest lectures on the various current and controversial topics in periodontics including “Biofilm & it’s role in periodontitis, Role of microRNA in periodontal pathogenesis, Human oral virome & periodontitis link, Biologics in root coverage, Rheumatoid arthritis & periodontitis link” . There were around 100 participants for the CDE programme and around 50 post graduate students presented E- posters on various topics. The programme was well appreciated by the participants and the senior faculties from other dental colleges. Five best posters & Best post graduate speaker were selected and awarded during the valedictory function.
Perio Integrate 2022 was conducted on 23rd December 2022. Dr. A. Kumarswamy was the guest speaker . Panel discussion was led by subject experts Dr.A. Kumarswamy, Dr. N. Gopi Chander and Dr. Kritika Datta
Successful completion of 3rd batch of Certificate Program in Laser Dentistry held from 1st - 3rd December 2022. The participants attended didactic lectures, preclinical and patients hands- on with different laser systems on a wide array of case procedures.
